English non-traditional dance troupe Stomp is coming to Bogotá for the first time from September 22nd - September 26th at the Jorge Eliecer Gaitan Theater in Bogota.
Using everyday objects, the group creates a percussion rhythm while dancing in a tribal style, with musical jokes thrown in to keep things lively.

Colombian pop superstar Shakira begins a world tour tonight in Montreal to promote her latest album(s), "Sale el Sol/The Sun Comes Out".
The tour moves on to the United States on September 17th, when Shakira plays at the Mohegan Sun arena at the casino of the same name in Connecticut.

A new exhibit at Bogota's National Museum explores the life and times of former M-19 guerilla group founder Carlos Pizarro.
The exhibit, entitled "Hacer la paz en Colombia 'ya vuelvo', Carlos Pizarro" explores the process by which M-19 demobilized and made peace with the Colombian government in the 1980s and 90s.
