I have been reading the forum for months now and I must say... WOW!! I've never laughed so much.  I have traveled to Colombia thirteen times since 2005 and will be touching down in Cali for the fourteenth time in a couple weeks.  I love Colombia and her people.  First relationship, learned quite a bit, second relationship, learned a little more and the third relationship, of two years now, has pulled it all together.  She's the one!  I have committed to moving to Colombia in the near future (six months) and have so many questions for the pros.  Being raised in a traditional manner by Portuguese (Cape Verdean to be exact, language incredibly similar to Spanish) parents, I admire the old school values and have a strong grasp of the language.  I have a specialty construction business in the states, LSCstampcrete at america... I would like to buy some land and build a finca with my own two hands, I would like to bring my Ducati... Please, I have a million questions.  The intelligence of TheFlat, Dougs' wisdom, Gators' expertise, Slightly Creaky land acquisition and home construction, the two wheel passion of excavator... the list goes on.  I have real questions.  Look around, where else can I go?  Where did I find this site?

Who can help with the transition?

Why was the post taken off of "General Discussions"?

I was informed about this site from a similar site.  WOW! Is that how it works?  Perhaps someone can reply and explain how things work.

I'm looking for guidance for traveling and living in Colombia.

Hi Ducati,

Our forums work a bit different from other sites.  When a user clicks on Forums, he or she will see all of the most popular posts and most recent posts mixed together from all of the categories.  There is no need to post in multiple categories as your post will appear in the main threads listing regardless of the category.  We consider posting the same message in multiple categories to be spam because it will appear multiple times in the main thread listing and thus reduces the visibility of the other posts, and for that reason, the duplicate copies of the post were removed.

I hope this helps.  If you have additional questions about how to use the forums, please feel free to ask.

Why are you adressing issues and members  of MY forum in this one? Are you severely retarded?  Why would you think I would answer any of your garbage here?  I sincerely wish people like you weren't allowed to reproduce. If you do indeed have children, I am certain they have special needs.

Like everybody else around here... that's not you Peter... it's some other coward hiding behind his keyboard.  My post was polite, thoughtful and respectful... you should try it sometime.  You wanna talk about my children... show your face, you got my email.  Like I said, I'll be there in two weeks.

I don't have anything to prove to you or anyone else. It isn't my fault that you don't know how to use a simple search button to find the answers that you seek. Unfortunately Medellin is full of losers just like you. We don't need anymore, Einstein.

It's Cali you insecure POS.  And who's the loser?  I put it out there... trying to get on PBH, hoping someone would respond with all the imposters out there.  But instead I ended up with your infantile response.  Who's running around pretending to be someone they're not... for what?  To try and discredit this man's site?  Whoever you are, you really gotta grow up.  It's people like you... it really is.  Last time I heard "I don't have anything to prove to you..." was back in elementary school.  As they ran away.  Two weeks pal.

Everyone knows where you impersonators are from.  I visited your POS website... the one with nine members.  What a ghetto site.  All you guys do is bash good people... your parents must be so proud.

Ducati im guessing you have a bike. ( and if it is a Ducati MAJOR props man) I have to say that sounds about the right time though. I agree I think the last time I heard that phrase was back in 92 in the first grade.
